(a) A student is expected to have minimum 75% attendance. If a student falls short of attendance, he/she shall not be eligible to take the Annual Examination.
(b) If a student is absent for any of the Tests/Examinations, a retest/re-examination is not held under any circumstance.
(c) A student should get minimum 33% marks/D grade in all subjects to get promoted to next class.
(d) In case, a student fails in one or two subjects, he/she will be given only one chance for improvement of performance & get pass marks. No second chance is provided under any circumstances.
(e) In case, a student fails in more than two subjects, he/she will not be promoted to next class & will be required to repeat the class.
(f) The answer-sheets of annual exams will not be shown to parents or students. However, rechecking of answer sheets can be permitted by the Principal on parents’ request on payment of Rs. 100/- per subject. In such cases, it will be rechecked that all the answers have been checked and the total marks have been added correctly. The request for rechecking has to be made through written application along with fee within three days of the declaration of result. After three days, no such request will be entertained and the decision of the Principal will be final & binding on all.
(g) In case of illness of child during exams, promotion is decided on the basis of performance of students during the year in consultation with the concerned teachers.
